On 1/15/00 @ 10:56am an alarm was called into the Towanda Fire Dept. in Bradford Co. Pa. It was reported that a residential structure on Bridge St. Hill was showing smoke. Upon arrivial 15-chief1 finds a two level, garage/house residential structure, fully involved, with exposers on all sides. An interior attack was made to the basement, and the fire was contained the the first level. The garage suffered smoke and water damage. Towanda FD was assisted by, Monroeton, North Towanda, Wysox, and Smithfield Fire Depts.
Crews remained on scene until 17:22 hrs. to begin an investigation. No injuries were reported.
