At 1:30 am on 1/19 all six companies of the Red Bank New Jersey fire departmet responded to a fire in a 3 story house located on the Navesink river. The wind coming off the river create a wind chill of -21 degrees. Three hydrants were frozen. The fire stared in an empty wall space behind a fireplace and spread to and destroyed the attic. Mutual aid came from Fair Haven and Middletown Fire companies. The occupants of the house escaped unharmed.
