Titusville Fire and Emergency Services (Florida) recently held our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for our new Station #13.

This will replace the station located on Sisson Road. The building is 5,500 square foot with 2680 under air and is built on 4.4 acres. Total cost of the project was $788,000. Two Firefighters, a Drive/Operator and a Lieutenant will be on duty 24/7 responding to emergency calls in the south Titusville area.

The building is Americans with Disabilities Act compliant, built to the new hurricane standards, sprinkled, has a monitored alarm system, and is wired for computer networking. One of the unique features of this new station is the community health room. In the future, this will be used for assisting residents with routine medical needs. Also in this building are carbon
monoxide detectors and an automated venting system for high carbon monoxide
levels in the truck room.

The dedication was Tuesday, January 25 at 1700 hours.

Under construction are another fire station, combination fire station/headquarters and a station improvement.
