ALL HAD BEEN QUITE IN SPRING TOWNSHIP BERKS COUNTY. 2 CALLS HAD POTENTIAL. FIRST CALL 2/2/2000--- UNITS WERE DISPATCHED TO 107 RADCLIFFE AVE FOR A POSS STRUCTURE FIRE. OIL COMPANY ON LOCATION REPORTED SMOKE IN THE BASEMENT. FIRE WAS CONTAINED TO THE OIL FURNACE BUT HEAVY SMOKE DAMAGE WAS THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE. COMPANIES ASSIGNED 73,51,65, ENGINE 59 CALL NUMBER 2 2/2/2000----- UNITS WERE SENT TO NEW HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION SITE ON WETS WYOMISSING BLVD FOR A GAS LEAK. STATION 73 FOUND A 4" MAIN WAS STRUCK AND HAD 59 AND 65 STAND BY AT THEIR STATIONS. SOME RESIDENTS WERE EVACUATED FROM THE AREA. NO DAMAGE WAS REPORTED.
