MARCH 12, 1938
One of the worst tragedies in the 100 Year History of the Paterson,NJ Fire Department occured at a 4th. Alarm fire, located in the Quackenbush Warehouse on Prospect Street. Five Firefighters were killed when a wall collapsed while fighting the blaze.
