Yesterday morning, we were dispatched to a house that exploded. Leaving my home to the fire house I could see a large plum of black smoke. As we were approching the scene we could see the house was fully involved. The home was a double wide about 5 feet from a large garage. The roof on the front of the home was down upon our arrival, and the garage was smoking. We were able to protect the garage. The home was a total loss. Cause is under investigation. We were assisted by Barre City, Barre Town, Washington, Berlin and Brookfield. No injuries.
