Marion county had 2 strtucture fires on 4-6-00, the first one was in the village of Waldo and reequired tankers and manpower from 4 Depts. to extinguish, the second was approximately 5 hours and 10 miles away in the Village of Meeker it required 5 Departments for manpower and Water, no injuries reported at either fire and no civilian casualities. first responding dept. was recalled to Meeker for a rekindle about 4 hours after taking up. Fire is now completely extinguished.
