At 0122 hours on Tuesday April 25, 2000, the Singerly Fire Company of Elkton, Maryland was alerted for a working house fire on Johnstown Road in the Cherry Hill section of Cecil County. Chief 383 arrived to find a 2 story dwelling fully involved. He quickly requested two additional tankers and an engine. Engine 312 arrived and went in service with 2 handlines. The fire is currently under investigation by the State Fire Marshall's Office. The last unit cleared the scene at 0337 hours.
