Sullivan County PA weekly fire update.
On 4/21 Sullivan County Units: Tanker 58, Engine 58, and Ambulance 58; Tanker 57, Engine 4-57, and Ambulance 1-57; and Engine 1-50 were dispatched to Box 58-0, Rte. 487 in Bernice/mildred for a stove fire. Units were recalled as no fire was found.
On 4/21 Sullivan County Units: Tanker 58, Engine 58, and Ambulance 58; Tanker 57, Engine 4-57, and Ambulance 1-57; and Engine 1-50 were dispatched to Box 58-0 On Jackson St. in Bernice mildred for a partition fire. Units were again recalled as no fire could be found.

Sullivan County Stations 57, 58, and bradford co. station 8 were dispatched to Elys Rd. in Cherry Twp. for a barn fire. upon arrival Chief 57 reports 3 story barn fully involved.
water was drafted from a near by pond. The fire was out at 11:47am. At 14:30 pm station 57 was again dispatched for a rekindlement. and out again at 15:20pm. A 6" layer of Foam was used to ensure no further fire. At 16:30 PSP report fire rekindled in the celling of the basement. Units again responded from station 57 and an interior attack was made. Earlier attepmts were impossible due to possible structural collapse.The barn was again foamed and pulled apart until the fire was out....for good! Units returned at 20:13pm. The fire is listed under investigation. Several barrels of Racing Fuel were found inside the barn as well as a car. Which due to heat and of course exploding could have passed as station wagon, or a pickup.Units responding were Tanker 57, Engine 57, Squad 57, Amb. 1-57; Tanker 58; and 8-Engine-1.
