05/02 -- Elkton, Cecil County, Maryland --Box 304 -- 0222 hours -- Singerly Fire Company (Stations 3,13,& 14) was alerted to a reported working house fire on Red Hill Road. Asst. Chief 384 arrived with fire showing from one story SFD. Engine 312 went in service with 1.75" handlines. Command 3 requested additional units for manpower. The fire was under control at 0302 hours. The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the blaze. All units ready at 0436 hours.

Units responding: Singerly: Engine 312, Engine 313, Rescue 371, Ambulance 392; Chesapeake City: Engine 211; Newark: Rescue 8; Christiana: Engine 6-5; Cecil County Paramedic 2; and FM48.
