Utica, NY was the scene of a large 2 alarm fire Tuesady evening. At 8:00 p.m. a telephone alarm came in for a house fire at 713 Saratoga St in the West Side of Utica. First due companies reported heavy smoke and fire from the second floor of 713 Saratoga. They also reported fire showing from a neighboring structure at 711 Saratoga St. Fire fighters fought the blaze for over 2 hours. The 2 structures were vacant and the fire spread to a 3rd structure at 715 Saratoga but thanks to city fire fighters it did little damage.
