1st Alarm Lnacster,Pa.
E1,E2,Trucks 1&2 and O/D Capt.1 responded to a reported structure fire at 8:19 p.m. at 402 W.Orange St. Saturday evening.Engine#1 reported heavy smoke was visable from the rear of their station when they responded from less than a block away.Heavy smoke was pushig out a rear first floor window on arrival. The fire was knocked down quickly with a 1.75" pre-connect line!This building contains two apartments and a hair saloon on the first floor. There were no injuries. Bell's Deli which previously occupied the area of the hair saloon was the scene of a three-alarm fire that caused $150,000 damage in 1994 which was listed as suspicious.
