A fire in a 3 story frame attached at 101 Belmont Avenue continued A busy month for Paterson's Bravest. First arriving companies found a heavy smoke condition in the area. The 1st Alarm had Engine Companies 4,8,5,6 Ladders 2,3 Battalion 3 Deputy 1. Two 1 3/4 lines were stretched into the main fire building and 1 to the delta exposure as companies went to work. Ladder 2 personel opened the roof while 3 truck did a primary serch. Companies operating at the scene did a good job containing the fire to the main building. Captain Vincent Zito of Ladder 2 suffered a cut on his hand and was transported to St. Joseph Hospital while Firefighter Charles Onorato Ladder 2 had debris in his eyes and was treated at the scene. The fire is under investigation by the Departments Combustibles Division.
