Silent Auction To Benefit Fallen Firefighter

On December 18th, 1999 Chesterfield County, VA. volunteer firefighter Bradley McNeer was tragically killed in an apparatus accident while responding to a call for service. In cooperation with his family and in honor of his memory the Brad McNeer Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established to provide educational resources for those choosing a career in the fire and EMS professions.

To raise money for the fund, Chesterfield Fire and EMS will be conducting a silent auction in conjunction with the first annual Brad McNeer Memorial Golf Tournament to be held at the Highlands Golfing Club on September 7th, 2000. In preparation for the auction a website has been established for people who may be interested in bidding on items in advance.
