10-18-00: @ 05:15hrs., Sta. 12 (Colmar) and 345 ( Vol. Medical Service Corps.) were dispatched to County Line Rd. & Walnut St. in Hatfield Twp. for an auto rescue. At the same time Bucks County comunications dispatched Sta. 60 (Hilltown) for an auto extrication at the same intersection. R-60 and R-12-3 arrived together and encountered 1 vehicle into a pole with 1 driver heavily pinned. Both companies began exrication efforts, finding the pt's legs heavily entangles below the dash. Roof removed and front end displaced before pt. was extricated. Pt.was class 1, with probable tib-fib and femur on the left side, and severe chest and head tramua. All air transports were grounded due to poor weather conditions. Extrication complete at 05:55hrs. Pt. tramsported by ground to trauma center.
