Just over an hour after being placed in service, the long awaited "new" Engine 6 got broke in. The Pierce Dash 2000 which replaced an 1988 E-one, was dispatched to a house fire at 2707 Homan Ave.(1 block from station 6).Engine 6 arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the one-story structure. One occupant was removed by firefighters, and the fire was contained to one room.Other units assisting were Engines 8 & 9, Quint 7, Rescue 9,and Chief 3.

Congrats to Engine 6 for breaking its cherry. What do you have as far as equipment goes on the pumper?
