Sullivan Co, Pa weekly incident post
stations 50, 51, 52, 57, 58, 24, 26, and 27. Responded to a large structure fire in Davidson township. The fire was fatal to two residents, who were unable to make it out. The home became fully involved with in five minutes of the Muncy Valley Fire Company being notified. Soon after, mutual aid was called in from all over Sullivan and Lycoming Counties to control the blaze. The following units were responded: Engine 1-50, Ambulance 50; Tanker 51, Ambulance 51, engine 51; Tanker 52, engine 52, ambulance 52; Tanker 57, squad 57;
Tanker 58; Tanker 24; tanker 26, engine 26; tanker 27.
Station 57 responded to a report of a pole and wires on fire. A three-phase electric power pole snapped from heavy winds, and thus, caught fire. A small brush fire was quickly extinguished by the crew. Route 220, had to be closed for about two hours as the lines could have came down at any time. Power outages were reported throughout the day. Units responding were: Brush Truck 57, Engine 57, Squad 57, and Ambulance 157.
