Abingdon, Harford County, Maryland -
Dispatched approx 1835 this evening for 10-50 PI with rescue and auto fire on MD Route 24 northbound between MD Route 924 and Singer Road. Reported three patients, one unconscious. Medic 493 arrived, confirming rescue, auto fire and requesting MSP aviation. Rescue 451 arrived on location, assuming command. 493 requests a total of 4 additional ALS units and a total of two medevacs. Three patients to be flown, reported one pediatric respiratory arrest taken to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center.
Units on scene: Abingdon - Medic 491, I.V. 493, Rescue 451, Engins 411 and 415; Joppa-Magnolia - Medics 891 and 893; Fallston - Medic 1391; MSP Aviation Troopers 1 and 6; Maryland State Police and Harford COunty Sheriff's office for traffic control.

Update from last night's rescue:
Pick-up versus either minivan or small SUV (personnel could not tell), head on. Four persons in van/SUV, one in pickup. 7 year old respiratory arrest transferred to Johns Hopkins PICU. Three persons flown to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. One confirmed DOA. Md Route 24 shut down for approx 4 hours for investigation.
