11-23-00 @ Approx. 13:30hrs., Station 60&61 (Hilltown Twp.) were dispatched to 1105 Callowhill Rd. in Hilltown Twp. for a brush fire. First arriving Tanker-61 reported 3-4 acres involving a corn field and some heabvy brush. E-60 arrived and and utilized their 500' 3" leader line with 200' of forestry hose. Field 59 (Sivlverdale) arrived and controlled the fire on the perimitter of the corn field. Fire under control at 13:45hrs. After questioning residents, it was determined the cause was unattended leaf burning. Units cleared the incident at 14:30hrs.
