At approximatley 10:21 PST, 25 Companys from the Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire at 1 Ceasar Chavez Satdium, That address is the Metropolitan Transit Authoirty,s Headquarters, The fire was reported on the 27th Floor of the buidling, First in companys could see heave smoke and flames showing from the pasad of the 27th floor, Crews imediatley went in and began an interior attack, All of the buildings 2200 occupants made it out safley with only three minor injurys one to a Firefighter who was taken to a nearby Medical Center and released, The fire was apparently started by an electrical shortage, More than 100 strechted handlines into the building and battled for over an hour to contain the blaze. "The fire started on the 27th Floor and that is where the fire stayed" According to LA City Fire Captain Steve Ruda, Only 26 of the builings 27 floors are used, The 27th Floor contained window washing equipment and custodial equipment. There was no further damage thanks to great supression efforts of the Los Angeles City Fire Department, Currently Arson Investigation Officals are reviewing the cuase of the fire, Arson is not suspected,All units in the area are trained to deal with High Rise Fires, More information to come when i recieve it
The fire was spotted by LAFD Fire Chief Bill Bammatre from his window at LAFD HQ in Downtown LA

I was incorrect on the time estimate, "The fire was knocked down by Firefighters in less than 40 Minutes" Stated Captain Steve Ruda, The fire apparently started outside on the fasad which where the fire first occurded, So since it was outside no fire sprkinlers were activated, But the smoke was very thick and black, Firefighters were only able to take the elevators up to the 14th floor there they hsd to lug the rest of there equipment up to the 27th floor by stairs
Also the stairs were also filled with occupants trying to leave the building, While Fire crews did there best to make there way up to the buidling, More to come
