Durham Fire companies were dispatched to a house fire early this afternoon at 3723 Old Chapel Hill Rd. Upon arrival of E-6, smoke and fire were showing from the top floor and attic of a 2- story frame structure. Fire held to that area of the structure. Fire attack was delayed briefly until water could be established. E-6 arrived with a half tank of water, after clearing from a trailer fire (loaded with hay) just a short distance away. Responding units: E-6,5,11,12, L-11,12, Batt-1, FD-20, MS-1, FD-32 (investigator).
