An early morning fire that swept through a Flanders home on Renault drive, took the lives of five people early Sunday morning. Called in around 6:30 in the morning, First arriving police officers reported that part of the house was fully involved. They tried to make entry and locate the victims but the heat and smoke drove them back out of the house. It took firefighters from Flanders, Budd Lake, Chester, and Roxbury an hour to get the fire under control. Morris County Prosecutor's office and other fire officials spent A good part of the day Sunday trying to determine the cause of the fire and at this time they do not believe the fire was intentionally set.
