7/16/2001, 20:30 - Anne Arundel County Fire / EMS units responded on a report of a fire at the Hope United Methodist Church, in Edgewater, Maryland, south of Annapolis.
First in arrived to find smoke eminating from the eves, and requested a second alarm.
Rapid intervention teams quickly located two area of fire in the basement of the Church.
A total of 55 personnel were working this incident at the time of this report.
