Two drivers were slightly hurt this afternoon when a Chevrolet Blazer collided with a semitrailer truck at an Eagan intersection, sending the truck over a curb and about 150 yards into a trucking company office.

Sprinklers in the DART Transit Co. office at 800 Lone Oak Rd. doused a fire that broke out after the truck's cab slammed into the building, near the intersection of Lone Oak Rd. and Hwy. 55.

Rush-hour traffic was diverted from Hwy. 55 onto Lone Oak.

Hwy. 55 reopened to traffic about 5:20 p.m., about two hours after the accident occurred.

Eagan Police Capt. James McDonald said the cause of the collision was under investigation by the State Patrol.

Two people in the trucking company office were treated at the scene for injuries, McDonald said. The truck involved in the collision was not operated by DART Transit.
