On Nov. 11, 2001 about 10:30am the Norrisville Vol. Fire Company (Harford County Station 10)was alerted to respond a brush truck into York County (Box 56-6) for a woods fire. Units on scene advised they has numerous acres on fire. The smoke could be seen from Norrisville's fire Station. About an hour later York county requested 2 engines out of Norrisville which brought BC 45 to fill-in Norrisville. Pennsylvania Forest service had bull dozers making access trails to the fire which could not be reach from the road. Appox. 30 different fire dept.s were alert on the call. Norrisville's units all cleared the scene about 7:00pm
