Around 3:30 am on Nov. 16,2001 harford county station 7 (jarrettsville) was alerted for a woods fire in the 4800 blk of Jolly Acres Rd. Brush 741 went o/l moments later and advised dispatch they had 10 Acres of woods on fire and requested 2 additional engines to respond. Command 7 moments later requested 2nd alarm, forestry and Mspt. 2nd Alarm brought 2 Engines out of Harford County station 10 (Norrisville) 1 engine out of harford county station 3 (BEl Air) to transfer station 7 house #1 and numerous pieces out of Baltimore County and York County. Firefighters made an attack on the fire using forestry hose and bladder bags and had the fire under controll in about 3 hours. Approx. 7 Acres burnt according to Central 43.
