The Orleans Fire Department, of Orleans Indiana ( www.orleansfire.com )responded to a vehicle fire this morning. The call came in at 10:35, Engine 18 was on scene at 10:39. The fire was quickly extinguished. 4 Orleans Fire personnel responded. The older model Ford 1/2 ton pickup was a total loss. (Due mostly to the fact that it was a late 60's-early 70's model.)

While wrapping up this scene, another call came in reporting a woman having difficulty breathing. 1 unit had already left the earlier incident, so 2 other units responded to the EMS call, leaving 1 unit to finish packing gear.
Rescue 18 arrived on scene and assisted the patient with oxygen until the ambulance arrived to transport.

All units now 10-24, 10-8.
