The department I work for is a combination dept the paid staff responds with the first truck and members bring the rest apparatus. I need help to justify a rescue pumper over a one ton rescue. We run basic ems and auto extracation. I would like to see the paid staff have one truck to use all the time. We waste the jump seats of our new engine when i go on an alarm buy my self. We could do mostof our work (95%+) with just this one truck I would like to hear from people who have midi rescue pumpers, Hackney rescue pumpers, Saulsbury Scorpion's and S&S Outland pumpers.
