Alternative Fuels

Are any departments and/or manufacturers out there experimenting with alternative fuel systems such as compressed natural gas, liquified natural gas, electric, etc.? What would be the pros and cons of such?

Yo, whatzup? When B-N-E was in da ARMY he use AMC General wit 1000 gpming Darleys dat were multi-fuel. Gaz, deeeesel, or propane, it run good on anythang B-N-E could find-n-dump in. Man, it had lotsa juice when da propane was goin, but it gave B-N-E a bad ride - no tinted windows - no tape player - know what I'm sayin? PEACE!
