Just wanted to know what other bases are doing? Would like some info on how to start, maybe some sort of SOP. Thanks

We use two members of our department until our RIT shows up. We provide RIT for them and they do the same for us.

With the short staffing here in the capitol district of NY, we rely on mutual aid for RIT/FAST. Right outside our gates is the city of watervliet, which has 4 to 6 on a shift (same as us, 4 to 6). for any alarm of fire, reported structure fire, etc., we respond on their 1st alarm assignment as their RIT. if it is a working fire, we go to work and their recall or another mutual aid company comes in as RIT. the same goes for us, we call the city in for RIT and if we have a working incident, they go to work and additional mutual aid is called in for RIT. stay safe.
