There's a book out ther called Navy and Marine Corps Fire Apparatus. I bought it from Barnes & Noble. They have pics of the 530 series trucks.

Re: 530B pictures. Try this locaton for all AF Fire Protection vehicles. Being put together by AFRES Chief of Fire Protection Donald Warner. He is currently assembling books/catalogs/drawings/pictures of all AF CFR/FD vehicles. I saw some drafts of the pictures, etc. There was something for everyone in it. http://members.home.com/affirealbum/default.htm Hope this helps.

Wonder how many 530s are still in use? AS of 6 months ago when I was in Korea, the US Army at Camp Casey still had an active 530B, along with an Amertek (I believe) MACI unit for both structural/crash.

We have our 530c in service as a " Wildland Urban Interface" pumper. It was refurbed at the cost of $99,000.00. I wanted to replace it with a Humvee but my command advised me they had no money for the purchase of a new vehicle but I could spend up to 100k on the 530. It has 500 gallons of water and 35 gallons of Class A foam. With the exception of ladders we can use it as our reserve pumper. It is a 1974 with 6,000 miles. Still runs great and will go just about anywhere. For those familiar with the MACI, I would take our 530 anyday.
