    Default HOSE PACKS

When I was in California I saw a hose rolled into a pack just using the hose and some string, I would like to start to do this our wildland hose in my dept. We currently stuff it a bag like rope and I think this would add to ease of operation. If anyone could email me a diagram or tell me where I could find one, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank You,

    Karns -

If you can get a copy of the NWCG Water Handling & Equipment guide (that may not be the exact title, but it's close) there are pictures and I think the instructions and such are there as well. If all else, it can direct you to a good source. Of course, here on the internet, is one of the best .

Also ask over at http://www.wildlandfire.com/theysaid.htm as you may be able to get several versions to choose from.

    Good luck.

    Default hose packs

Here a couple of links to the Gnass Pack site. This harness is comfortable and durable. We are carrying 200' of 1-1/2 hose with a gated tee to use as the trunk line in a progressive hose lay. A separate pack carries 300' of 1' line for the lateral lines.

The company let us demo a pack before we purchased them to see if they would work for us.

There are more hose packs available than you can imagine....just use any search engine with the keywords wildland hose packs.

Whatever route you decide to follow...make sure it is reliable and durable!!

Hose Packs More Hose Packs Even more hose packs Yet again another hose pack Still another pack Pack Pack...another pack
