This is a farewell salute to the six Worcester Firefighters who lost their life in the line of duty. I can speak for all of us fellow Firefighters, that we donít think about the consequences of our job when duty calls, however we face life and death each and every day. I would like to call a moment of silence, pray for all the fallen brothers loved, and lostÖ.

When I am called to duty GOD
Where ever flames may rage,
Give me strength to save some life
Whatever be itís age.
Help me embrace a little child
Before its too late
Or save an older person from
The horror of that fate.
Enable me to be alert and hear the weakest shout
And quickly and efficiently
to put the fire out.
I want to fill my calling and
To give the best of me.
To guard my every neighbor and
Protect his property
And if according to my fate
I am to loose my life,
Please bless with your protecting hand
My children and my wife.

God bless to all, and be safeÖ.
