Peoples lives have become so fast-paced that we don't often think of the folks who remain nameless to us. Unfortunately, the people who are always at the ready to help are often the nameless ones. When a tragedy such as this occurs, it often becomes a sobering reminder to all of us in any community just who these people are and why they are here.

I can only hope and wish that all of us take the time to help, support, and care for the people that would do the same for us in our time of need, especially now and especially their families. My thoughts and prayers are with every one of the 6 families who lost a piece of their hearts Friday. God be with them all. God be with the 6 firefighters.

I wish this for them and all the firefighters across the world:
Thank you for always responding.
