From your brothers at Charlotte Fire Station 24, to the six who caught the last alarm, you would have been proud of your brothers today just as I was. They responded to the call quickly,in numbers, and in the kindred spirit that only we know. It reminds us that no matter where we are, what we are doing, we are never alone in our duties.
While this was one of the saddest days in our history as a service, it was also one of the proudest...and you were there!
To our brothers in Worcester who continue to work at the site, you do us proud. May God guide you to your brothers, just as he guides them now, Americas Bravest.
