In light of the recent LODD'S the Fire Service has had to endure these past few months,I thought it would be appropriate if we took a long hard look at why we continue to loose firefighters despite all the advances in technology, apparatus and protective equipment, training, and safety precautions used in today's fire service.
Why is this happening and what can we do to lessen the risk?Have we become too agressive?
I am posting this note in a genuine effort to make our job safer and it is not my intent to be overly critical but the fire service needs to adopt procedures that better protect todays firefighters.Let me know what you think and please stay safe.
