MONTANA FIRES CASUALTY

I just learned this morning that my friend and client, Frank Funston, was killed in Montana recently fighting fire. Frank loved wildland firefighting and was a true American original: hunter, trapper, "mountain man", logger, former Marine and firefighter. I have no word yet about his wife, who usually worked side by side with Frank or at least on the same fire. She's a captain with Calif. Dept. of Forestry.

All to soon to post here again but this is part of the wold we live in. It is with a heavy heart and a moistened eye that the members of the South Windham F.D. send their condolences to the Family and our Brothers and Sisters who fought this Battle with our Brother Frank Funston.
