Firefighter William L. Thompson died januruy 12th 2001 near Ringo Mills in Fleming county.
Firefighter Thompson was driving a tanker which overturned while enroute to a grass fire.My throughts and prayers are with the Thompson family and his fellow firefighters in hillsboro.
HEROISM
Firefighting is a hazardous occupation. It is dangerous on the face of it,tackling a burning building.(or responding to the call)The risk are plain....
Consequently, when a man becomes a fireman, his act of bravery has already been accomplished.Everything else is daily duty.
