I just heard tonight while in class that a firefighter from Republic, Missouri died in his sleep while on duty on Tuesday, April 15th, 2001.......... I don't know much about it, but I bet that it will be in the headlines tomorrow sometime.... All I know is that he died of seizures and was a pretty popular guy......... Republic, MO is near-by to where I live and I just thought I would post this since I hadn't seen it up yet....

My condolences go out to his family and friends.... I know anyone who is a firefighter has a heart and cares or we wouldn't do it..... This is truly a sad loss because from what I understand he was only in his late 20's to very early 30's.... The only other thing I know is that his first name was Richie...... I'm sure the rest will come out in the LODD story headline......
