Community Relations

One thing I would enjoy seeing is an area about presentations other companies have made to their community. One thing we are sadly lacking in the fire/ems service is good community relations. We've seperated ourselves to the point of almost being like outsiders. To gain community support you have to be involved with the community.

One of the things that we have done to put ourselves in front of the comminity and also deliver public safety info is to produce a monthly fire show on the local access cable television station. A simple 1/2 hour show examines all sorts of issues in the fire service and we always take time to give a hand full of safety tips each show. I'll be glad to share exactly what we do. Just ask!
