I am curious as to whether or not any departments have begun real-time online fundraising (i.e. credit card payments). I have begun to see an increase of online fundraising for many non-profit organizations, and I imagine that the technology could be easily adapted for the fire service. First, of course, we must ensure that all transactions are safe and secure. Luckily, the improvement in e-commerce technology has improved drastically ensuring easy and safe online transactions.
