ZDnet website has HTML editor program available for free called "Cutepage". I found it to be easier to use than "Frontpage" or "Dreamweaver" & a great help to get you started. Sites with free templates are also listed on ZDnet site, search developer's tools. Or do a net search for website templates, take a template and insert your content (makes it sound easy anyway). "Firstpage" is also a very user friendly editor which is available on the net (it's also freeware) and has greater capabilities.

I would start by trying one of your local ISP's.they may help you in starting a website and may give you free space. After all you are a local community service.Good luck.

Hello Chief,
If you want a quick and easy web page, go to www.fire-ems.net It is hosted by Fire Engineering and all you have to do is fill out the form and you'll have a web page in minutes. Then you can take your time designing your own.
Hope that helps,

Check your area or state to see if there are any web hosting companies and see if provide free space for non profit organizations.
I found one for our state that does just that, they only give 5mb space for free but you can do allot with 5mb (just check the site, still have 2mb or so free space).
And the url we got was perfect.

As Melvin already said the Fire-ems .net site gives you a quick and dirty webpage instantly while you're building your own.
Good luck..Ken
