Dear all,
Having recently become interested in the forensics of fire and fire spread, I am wondering how useful fluid dynamics simulators are in this area.
Computer models obviously have some use but as a tool for accurately determining fire spread, surely they are flawed as approximating tools?
The scientific modelling designed at NIST is obviously the major work, so does anyone have any ideas, thoughts, or recommendations for appropriate reading?
I look forward to hearing form you guys soon.
Yours faithfully,
Nick Pope
