Stress Level Management in the Fire Service

I've been trying to find a stress level scale that could be used to measure the stress levels in our firefighters\paramedics to ensure that they are sharp and ready for the next call. We all know how fatigue and stress can take our edge off and I'd like to find a workable scale that will take care of everyone. Any ideas\suggestions would be a great help.

Unfortunately we tend to downplay the stress levels involved in firefighting, However I once did some research in Stress Management for Emergency Medical Service Providers.
