Leather Fire Buckets
I have several antique leather fire buckets
and would like to be able to research their
history. Does anyone have any advice on
where I can begin my search? And where I
might find general historical information?
One of the buckets reads "J. Emerson, Jr. No. 2"
which was purchased at auction at the Elliott
Museum in Jensen Beach, Florida. Another one
bought at the estate sale for M. Marshall Marston
and has battle scars which obliterates some of
the writing, but the end of the name are "..fenno"
and this is also No. 2. Any advice would be appreciated!
