A good place to start is the insurance companies in your area. They have good statistical information as well as free materials quite frequently. You may have to contact the insurance companies regional office in order to get the "good" stuff. Great ideas -- Allstate and State Farm are great for information.
Also if you have a decent budget, go to NFPA's website for info. You can download this year's Fire Prevention Week Kit, too.
If you don't have a large budget then go to FEMA's site. There info is published at no cost. And they have great handouts -- I picked some of the new ones up at the Expo. Order now for fire prevention week.
Smokey the Bear has a web-site, too.
Try hunting around this site for the safety section. I'm sure there are links and ideas!! Good luck!!
