I'm pretty new to this web site. Just found it accidentally and decided to come in here to havea look. I know nothing about fire fighting, except to throw water, flour, soil and blankets onto small fire.

Hi there, supermoo, and welcome!

You can and will learn a lot if you have a look here now and then, and one thing you might want to think about is that you don't throw flour on a fire. If conditions are right, it can explode, or at least combust so rapidly the difference isn't worth noticing.
