Hi all. I'm a 27 year veteran of fire and ems. Our department has just adopted Phoenix fires minimum co. standard . quick dress, get in apparatus, drive 200' to hydrant, connect to hydrant, ,drive 300', pull off 200' of 1 3/4" hose flow water full dressed, and breathing air in 2 min and 45 seconds. I would like to hear from someone who has beat that time or has come close. the fastest time we've had was 4 min and 50 seconds, with 4 men. 2 man was 5 min and 20 seconds. I find it hard to do in the alloted time.

Is that with hitting the hydrant too? seems like an unrealistic figure, but hell, I'll try anything once
