WHY IS THIS SITE SO SLOW NOW

Well..it takes me an average of 5 minutes to open any of the pages in this site now..if it is a change made by the web team BOOO. It's not my computer..thats for sure. Change it back!! I am a dissatisfied customer. I prefer any replies be e-mailed to me since it took me a half hour to get this far to type this message. e33_m@yahoo.com Thanks

Hey 33; Don't give up - we'll all miss ya! I thought things had slowed down to a snail's pace at first, but each day the page loading speed seems to be getting faster. Give it a day or two; hopefully it will improve for you.

The only feature that has been added in recent days is the "total registered users" link that now includes "total posts". We'll remove it Monday and see if things change, but we have checked it on the ole' Firehouse network ... which has 6 copmuters running on a modem ... and it seems to work as usual. We'll test it again after removing the total posts option.
