Hi--
I've been a firefighter and EMT since 1978. Began my career in emergency services in Cherry Hill, New Jersey prior to entering the seminary and becoming a Lutheran Pastor.
I was a firefighter and chaplain with Patchogue, L.I., NY FD from 1988-1995; served as Chief of Patchogue FD Ambulance from 1992-1994; and currently am a Firefighter, Chaplain and EMT-D with Center Moriches, NY FD since 1995.
I also am currently the director of the Suffolk County, NY Critical Incident Stress Management Team. We have about 40 members and have responded to nearly 60 incidents thus far in 1999. I also coordinated the CISM response to the downing of TWA Flight 800 on July 17, 1996.
Just kinda stumbled across Firehouse.com. Glad I found it.
